As a lifelong Columbus resident, attorney, and community advocate, Tiara Ross is running for office with a bold, people-first agenda focused on making our city safer, more equitable, and more accountable to the people who call it home. Safe and Thriving Neighborhoods

Every family deserves to feel safe in their community—but safety means more than just policing. Tiara knows that lasting public safety comes from strong neighborhoods, stable housing, and trust between residents and the institutions that serve them.

Expanded investment in community-based violence prevention programs.
Support for Community Immersion Training for police officers—developed by Tiara herself—to build relationships and reduce bias.
Strengthened oversight and accountability for law enforcement.
Investment in non-violent mental health crisis response teams as alternatives to police for non-violent emergencies.

Affordable and Dignified Housing

Columbus is growing, but too many are being left behind. Tiara will fight to ensure that every resident—no matter their zip code—has access to quality, affordable housing.

Collaboration with community land trusts and nonprofits to stabilize neighborhoods and prevent displacement
Restore and expand city programs that help seniors fix code violations and stay in their homes—so aging in place is a right, not a privilege
